Oh right. I think it does, in that you can write sentences that clearly take place in the future, without having to use "tomorrow" or "next week" or whatever. You use the verb "werden" and the infinitive of the main verb. So "gehen" means "to go", and "Ich werde gehen" is "I will go". But the main verb itself doesn't change.
