The one thing I would point out is that "Turtle Island" as a term for North America is not common to all indigenous cultures on the continent! Out here, a long way away from the cultures for whom that is their creation story, when I hear anyone using it, it's uh, white people only, usually white people from Back East. Not that I know of a better alternative to North America, but.
