Today I have done more hours of work than I normally do, and am then staying up for a remote lecture from the states. I have not, however, done all the things on my list.
I did not post a poem yesterday because I forgot. Instead, I will recommend you Jean Gaffney's A Sonnet for Catholics, published at Enbylife. Not copy-pasting it because it's pretty blunt about rape.
And for today:
Red:
Mary Rueffle
I fucking depended on you and
you left the fucking wheelbarrow
out and it's fucking raining
and now the white chickens
are fucking filthy
(Context and contrast)
